Welcome 2017-18 NAHS!

Welcome back from summer! Please use the blog to find important information about NAHS.
  1. Meeting Times and Dates will be posted above.
  2. NAHS Expectations and Requirements are posted above and below.
  3. Volunteer Opportunities and Events will be posted above.
  4. Hour forms are in the clear bins outside H14.
  5. Turn in forms to Ms. Daley in H14.
  6. Fees are posted to the above and below.
Requirements for Chords:
  1. Volunteer 36 hours promoting art in the aloha community.  Please get your hours approved ahead of time!!! Don't risk doing an activity that won't count if you are only doing the activity to earn NAHS hours.
    • Seniors must complete at least 12 of their hours senior year.
  2. Pay $3.00 due to the bookkeeper Mrs. Mayes.  All of this money goes to the national organization.
  3. If you are a SENIOR pay $15.00 to the bookkeeper for chords.
    • If you do no complete the requirements for NAHS and do not earn chords you will NOT be reimbursed.  The school has to purchase the chords in advance and we cannot return them.
    • If money is a problem please come see Ms. Daley.
  4. Pay all fees by November 1st and bring the receipt to the NAHS bookkeeper.
  5. Attend all meetings.
    1. You can miss one meeting.  After that you will no longer be eligible for chords.  Please plan ahead.
    2. Meetings are offered in the morning and in the afternoon.
  6. Participate in mandatory events:
    1. Homecoming Hallway
    2. Calendar Sales
    3. Team building activity
  7. Volunteer Opportunities:
    1. We need 11 volunteers for the BEF phone-a-thon
    2. We need volunteers to run the gallery in the front office.
    3. We need mat cutters for art shows
